Part of my role focused on creating and posting content organically for Texas Live!. Being a sports watching, live music, and restaurant venue, there is always some kind of content to be posted daily. Instagram and Facebook are home to concert announcements, event reminders, game day recaps, food spotlights and more!
Statistics via Instagram:
- 4-6 posts per week
- 2% followers growth every month
- Average 2,000 story views on event days
Statistics via Facebook:
- Average 230,000 accounts reached per month
One of the company’s goals for 2022 was to have a presence on TikTok. I took the lead and began posting content consistently to the platform in December 2021. The first two months of posting proved just how powerful TikTok virality is for a business.

- 3.7 Million video views and 169.5K likes in the first 60 days of posting
- Big 12 Championship TikTok reposted on to Barstool U Instagram
- Cowboys Fan TikTok reposted on to Sports Center Snapchat




Maestro Tacos | Social Media Manager
Sep 2020 – Feb 2022
In my role as Social Media Coordinator, my first task was to get Maestro Taco’s Instagram and Facebook accounts up and running before the restaurant’s opening day. I spent my time developing a social media strategy to build brand awareness in the DFW community and ultimately get customers in the door.
Statistics via Instagram:
- Gained 20,000 followers in 30 days after a few IG reels went viral
- Average 605,000 impressions per month
- Spearheaded the launch of happy hour campaign resulting in a 70% increase in margarita sales

- Average 30,000 accounts reached per month
After launching the Instagram account and Facebook page, I was tasked with launching the TikTok account. Being a restaurant, one of my goals was to let the audience see a more authentic side. Additionally, I wanted to reach the local high school/college crowd.

- 855,000 total video views in the first 30 days




Ampersand Coffee and Bar | Social Media Manager

As the social media manager for Ampersand Coffee and Bar, I oversee all posts for both social media accounts (coffee and bar).
Statistics via Instagram:
- Averaged 260,000 impressions per month
- 3-6 daily stories averaging 1,000 views each
- 100 mentions per month
- Spearheaded the launch of an online ordering campaign during COVID resulting in a 200% increase in website traffic
The Ampersand Twitter was being used to post links of Instagram post, so I decided to take it in a different direction. I began posting memes and hopping on trends to resonate with the coffee, bar and college audiences. Tweets were also posted on the Instagram story, where they gained engagement with shares and replies.

As a PR and Social Media Intern for PLUG, a Dallas-based agency, I assisted Account Executives by working on multiple projects with clients in the entertainment, lifestyle, fashion and non-profit industries. Some of my responsibilities included:
- Sorting raw footage and editing videos for multiple clients to be used on IGTV
- Planning posts and writing captions for clients Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
- Designing story graphics to promote products and events for clients
